Gamechanger! Such a simple and brilliant solution for our sweet senior girl. She’s been wearing them for a couple days now and the difference is amazing! Ruth is so much more sure-footed and sturdy on our floors, and I’m far less worried about her injuring a fragile joint by slipping. Her OA has led to uneven musculature in her legs, so extra traction means the world. She doesn’t seem to even notice them, and application was straightforward. 3 days in, they're staying on well during our daily walks. We've had to reapply a few, but that's no big deal — and each pack includes a few extras.

Our 18 year old dachshund, Bridgett, was experiencing issues with her back legs keeping traction, especially our tile and wood floors. Now she gets along just fine and enjoys walking again.

We have two litter-mate Lhasa Apsos, Dora and Goldie. Both are approaching 15 years of age in two months, and the aches and pains are beginning to take their effect, including general muscle weakness that comes with age.

Our tiled floor sections of the house have always been a "slid zone", especially since Lhasa's grow hair between their pads for protection from hot and cold conditions. When the dogs were younger and stronger they were able to compensate, but unfortunately now they can't do that as well. I tried keeping their paw pad hair trimmed, but alone it wasn't enough to solve the problem. Enter the perfect solution - traction provided by these awesome toe grips!

While Goldie didn't need them yet, Dora certainly did, so we tried Dr. Buzby's Toe Grips. Following the excellent instructions that came with the well-packaged product, I applied the toe grips as directed and they worked extremely well! Her feet were well-planted on the tile floors, and I could tell it made her more comfortable and confident in moving around on those slippery floors.

I did have some concerns at first. I wasn't sure if they would stay on, or if she would eventually chew them off. Surprisingly, she never messed with them. On her rear paws I realized she might not like them when trying to scratch an itch, but she was still able to do all her normal canine things same as before. She did manage to lose two of them within a week, but I found them on her bed, which she likes to paw at (excessively) before laying down. I simply cleaned them up and put them back on. I may not have had those two placed well enough on her nails, because this has not happened since. No worries even if a few go missing, we received 5 extra toe grips with our order, and I appreciated that I had the surplus to cover any losses. Also, I have experimented with leaving the inside toenails toe-grip free, just to allow her to paw and scratch herself, and it seems to still allow plenty of traction to avoid slips. I've also experimented with rotating/reversing them while waiting for a new order to arrive, with limited success.

Overall, I am very happy with the Toe-Grips! They provide a novel soluton to a common problem at a reasonable price. While you could install carpet runners everywhere, or try dog shoes (which I'm sure every dog would hate), I recommend gining these Toe-Grips a shot.

Our 16yo tiny poodle guy has bad arthritis and muscle wasting in his hind legs. The Dr Buzby’s team was super helpful in right-sizing the toe caps and helping to maximize use by suggesting using only on certain toes to start. Turns out just a few on Edgar’s back toes were enough to reduce sliding while walking and slipping outward of his paws. A really great product with a amazing customer service!

My girl 170 lb Saint Bernard had a stroke at 4 months old. She was paralyzed in her back end. Her rear right leg came back with therapy but she still has issues with the left rear leg. She doesn’t get traction on hardwood , tile floors. I have had runner rugs placed around. I have tried socks with grips ( which work too) but taken them off and on can be a pain. I finally decided to try the Toe Grips. I wish I would have tried sooner. I now have runners rugs up and she is not sliding her leg out to get a grip and stand up. It is very easy putting them on her nails. She doesn’t seemed bothered by them.

I have a 16 year old lab that can no longer walk on hard surfaces without sliding. I got the xlarge toe grips and now he can walk anywhere in the house without sliding. I was able to remove all the throw rugs I had to have down

I sent in a full review but wanted to make sure I also sent this video in. It clearly shows evidence of Bijoux’s three surgeries and her ability to walk on the hardwood floors. I think I will get even better learning how to put them on her paws. I do clip the hair on her paws as they get long and make her prone to sliding. Last Monday, I got a scare. Bijoux’s back legs were folding up on her outside so she couldn’t pee on the grass. I took her to the vet. The vet said she might have developed a neurological condition. I turned down a sonogram because bijoux has been through too much already. She’s been on librela shots which had seemed to help a bit before her hind legs started folding. The vet said we had one more option to try: a steroid shot and prednisone pills twice a day. She said we should know if it will work within the week. Well, it’s BIJOUX FOR THE WIN! I’ve put her on a diet to help her joints since extra weight doesn’t help and she certainly isn’t a candidate for exercise. I just wanted to share her doing her victory lap!

My Pomeranian, Bijoux, is 8. She weighs 7.5 pounds. She lost the lottery on wellness: She has had three surgeries (shoulder and two knees.) My home has no carpet. She is pee pad trained. If I added rugs, she’d pee on them. Walking is challenging even outside. I had gotten toe grips for her. Her size puts her right between the yellow and the red ones. I measured as instructed with dental floss. They suggest getting the smaller ones, so I did. I couldn’t put them on her. I paid the vet or her groomer to put them on. Expensive monthly! They weren’t working as well as I’d hoped. I sent her with a YouTube video showing the proper angles to put them at. I couldn’t control the angles they put them on!. Last month, I had to travel for a week. I had someone coming in to care for her. I had been using booties with a rubber bottom which worked well but they kept coming off. What could I do? I couldn’t ask a dog sitter to do that. Bijoux doesn’t deal well with people messing with her, thanks to those surgeries. I decided to go up a size in toe grips. It worked! Now, I am able to put them on her myself, with her wearing her tiny muzzle. She was able to do well the week I was gone and continues to do so. I can put more on whenever needed now and without the extra expense. (The smaller ones were too difficult for me to apply.) Without them, she slips like Bambi on ice, unable to get her footing. People think I painted her toes red! 🤣 Seriously, I can’t do life with Bijoux without them!

Stormy is a 12 year old black lab mix. He began to struggle on our hardwood floors about 1 year ago. The Toegrips have been life-changing as he can get up on his own and walk without slipping now. We recently added a Help ‘Em Up harness so Stormy’s rear legs don’t collapse when he goes up and down stairs. Stormy is all set for now! I highly recommend using the Toegrips

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have to say this is the best pet product I’ve ever bought. My 14-year-old Brussels Griffon has had back leg weakness that has been getting worse for years. Nothing helps, he often looks like Bambi on ice. I decided I would Try the toe grips and I couldn’t believe it. The directions were clear, application was easy and the results were amazing! As soon as I put him down, he was able to stay stable and all four legs and walk easily on our hardwood floors. He has never noticed having them on his toes and has never tried to take them off.
