Huck, my 15+ year old lab was having difficulties with our laminate floors and stairs. ToeGrips were recommended. Pretty easy to slide on after soaking in alcohol as directed in spite of him trying to avoid the process. Definitely making a huge difference. I ordered these for my 13 year old baby who also has idiopathic vestibular disease which creates problems walking during episodes. This has made her very afraid of our lvt flooring. I had read the reviews before buying but I was so happy to see the results for myself. Andromeda is a senior dog who has had TPLO repair on both knees and slips around on our hard wood floors. She immediately started walking steadily without slipping and sliding. The instruction video on how to apply toe grips was very helpful. It was difficult to place the grips on our dog. He just doesn't like anyone messing with his paws. Once I installed them, he was able to walk on our hardwoods, but he was still very shy about it. Today he seems to handle it much better.
