Dr. Buzby's Master Class: How to Trim Your Dog's Nails without Blood, Sweat, or Tears

You love your dog and are devoted to giving him or her the best care possible!

You’ve carefully chosen your dog’s veterinarian. You’ve spent time researching and choosing the right food. You prioritize spending time with your dog and providing plenty of exercise. But have you considered that nail care is also a critical component of your dog’s health?

Now is the time to learn the art of dog nail trimming without fear. Well-known integrative veterinarian and founder of Dr. Buzby’s ToeGrips for Dogs, Dr. Julie Buzby, will show you how to successfully and confidently trim your dog’s nails using a positive approach and a unique trimming technique that is safe for all nails, regardless of color or shape.

In this 12-module, 90-minute master course, Dr. Buzby will teach you how to:

  • Set yourself up for success with the proper tools and preparation

  • Use a vertical trimming technique she’s perfected over her 20-year career to dramatically reduce the chance of hitting the quick (the blood and nerve supply)

  • Locate the “pre-quick” to trim nails as short as possible without causing harm

  • Be successful with all types of dog toenails (including hard-to-trim black nails, thick nails, long nails, puppy nails) and with all types of dogs—even the anxious ones.

By the end of this class, you will be able to successfully trim your dog’s nails without fear of hurting your dog in the comfort of your own home.

UPON CHECKOUT, AN EMAIL WILL ARRIVE IN YOUR INBOX WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ACCESS YOUR COURSE @ courses.drbuzby.com

Wish I'd seen this decades ago!

I'm a senior and have owned dogs all my life. Long nails were never a problem as long as I could walk my dogs 4-5 miles a day, which has always been my habit. But inevitably once the dogs got old, the distances they could walk shortened and their nails grew. Too often I made my poor old-timers bleed when trimming their nails making both of us dread the process. And because it so stressful, I didn't do it often enough so they got even longer nails!. NOW I KNOW WHY I COULD NEVER DO IT RIGHT! No one else shows this method of nail clipping online, nor did any vet tell me about such a technique. It seems like the perfect way to do it and so safe.

The many videos and situations were super helpful to really understand the nuances of actually implementing the method. I learned that I need to also adjust how I position the dog for the clipping so he doesn't resist so much. I am looking forward to using this method on my current (and probably last) old pooch. He will thank you Dr. Buzby, I am sure! And I thank you so much for making the course available through Dr. Becker's website. I plan to tell every do owner I know about it!
