Dr. Buzby's Ebook: Saying Goodbye To Your Dog

Saying Goodbye To Your Dog: Counsel, Care, & Comfort for the Journey

Author: Julie Buzby, DVM, CVA, CAVCA

Knowing when it’s time to say goodbye to your beloved dog is the most difficult part of being a pet parent. If you're wrestling with this heartbreaking decision, this resource is for you.

A note from the author, Dr. Julie Buzby:

This is not an easy journey. It's one of the hardest roads you'll ever walk. As a veterinarian with over 20+ years of experience and a passionate dog mom, I know what it’s like to love — and lose — a four-legged friend.

In this 45-page ebook, I will walk with you through each step of this incredibly difficult decision, answer your unspoken questions, and offer practical help filled with comfort and hope.

It is my deepest desire that this ebook provides you tangible help and hope during your darkest hours. In that spirit, we’ve chosen to make this resource available free of charge...no strings attached.

But we've also chosen to provide the option for you to honor your dog's life or memory by donating to The Grey Muzzle—an incredible nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk senior dogs. ♥️

Eye-opening: a very helpful and heartfelt read!

This is a great read, and totally stands out from the other literature on the same 'taboo' topic. I like that it includes both the scientific details of what our pets will go through in their late days, and the sentimental yet logical way to guide pet parents in making the right decision for our beloved companions. I recommend owners of pets at any life stage to stay informed- it's never too early!
