ToeGrips are a must-have for our spaniel who is elderly and can’t hold herself up on the wood floor without slipping unless she’s wearing her ToeGrips.
She went from skipping on her toes to putting 90% of her weight on her bad leg as soon as I put these on! No more wipe outs on my hard floors and she’s excited for walks!
I tried the ToeGrips. Since then—and it has been almost a month—no more slipping, even with lots of snow during that time (Illinois), and the ToeGrips stayed in place even with him going outside to potty!
Once we put these grips on two weeks ago, she’s about 98% better—able to run and keep her feet under her! They’ve stayed on the whole time too—wonderful!
Harley, my 14 yr old pug, could not walk on our tile floors without falling several times a day. Harley can now maneuver throughout the house without falling.—we have even seen him run a time or two.
Our 10 year old beagle has had a hard life unfortunately with horrible arthritis and spine issues. ToeGrips have changed her life as she is a constant mover now—I dearly wish I would have found these sooner.
He was given a medication which caused ataxia and my poor old man could barely move without falling over. They provided the needed stability to prevent him from falling. It was truly amazing.
We moved into a new home that has hardwood floors. These toe grips were a game changer—Kaiya walks everywhere now. We will definitely be ordering more.
An immediate change in your dog's freedom and mobility
If your dog can walk on carpet or grass but struggles on hardwood floors or smooth surfaces due to age, arthritis, surgery, or disability, Dr. Buzby’s ToeGrips dog nail grips can help.
ToeGrips have helped thousands of dogs worldwide including:
The non-slip nail grips fit onto your dog’s toenails to enable instant traction on hard-surface floors and stairs.
ToeGrips® dog nail grips typically last 1-3 months, two months on average. “Mileage” will vary based on your dog’s size, environment, and gait. The more abnormal your dog’s gait, the faster ToeGrips® dog nail grips will wear.
Most people assume this is a common scenario, but 97% of dogs do not bother with or chew at their ToeGrips® dog nail grips. In fact, most dogs don’t even seem to notice them, which makes sense because ToeGrips® dog nail grips sit on the poorly innervated nail tip, as opposed to covering skin/soft tissue of the paws and paw pads.
As a veterinarian, ingestion was one of Dr. Buzby’s primary concerns years ago when bringing ToeGrips® dog nail grips to the marketplace. She consulted with several colleagues, including surgeons, about this issue and everyone agreed that based on the size of dog and size of corresponding ToeGrips® dog nail grips, they should pass right through a dog’s GI tract. To date, that has always been the case. Furthermore, ToeGrips® dog nail grips are FDA-certified non-toxic.
I was skeptical, but purchased these in an effort to stop out 13.5 year old Labradoodle from sliding out around corners on our hardwood floors. We do a lot of hiking and I was unsure how they would hold up. I was also afraid he would chew them off. After two weeks of use, I can say that they work perfectly and he doesn't mind them at all. We have been on an 11 mile hike in the last week with him with no issues. He has always been in good shape, but was losing traction. Some these allow him to live the lifestyle he enjoys without fear of falling. I will continue to use them and highly recommend them.
We bought the green and they fit his front nails perfectly, but only with on two of his back nails as they are shorter. Ideally, we would get the blue for four of his back nails. He is 45 lbs.
Dr Buzby’s toe grips have been a beautiful miracle for my 6yr old Rottweiler “Smalls”. He was having trouble all of a sudden with our wood floors, he was starting to “slip” when he got up from his bed or when he first came into the house.
I was afraid of him being injured by “slipping”. (His momma had her back end go out due to an injury, unfortunately her situation never improved.💔).
When I saw the ad for the toe grips. I thought “ok, let’s try this & say a prayer that it is the answer to my big boy’s problem”. I ordered them, they arrived quickly in the mail. Putting them on my 115 lb rottie was really easy. When they were all on him, I helped him up and then he didn’t slip once!!! My prayers were answered and I have a happy, healthy pup! Thank you so much for providing a great product! I am a forever customer as I intend on having dogs in my life forever!
I also do fostering & will definitely introduce these to the fosters and all the adopters. Great product! Thank you again & again!
Miley is an overweight dachshund that was attacked by a Mastive at 18 months old and badly injured. She is now 12-1/4 years old and has severe arthritis. She had trouble getting up and walking.. I put the toe grips on and she does much better with both functions. I am hoping they stay on well.
I got them on the six-year-old and the two-year-old The two-year-old that I actually ordered them for three days after I put him on him he stopped using one of his feet. I don’t know if the toe things are bothering him or it’s his hip so we’re just taking it day by day. The six-year-old, she seems to have no problem using them and they don’t seem to wipe out as much on the hardwood floors so. I appreciate your assistance with this matter. It was great. I’m gonna keep using them.
Our Dachshund "Otto" was having difficulty walking on out tile floors and was all but giving up trying. We tried the Dr. Buzby's toe grips and our Otto was able to walk without any problems again!
We are having some issues with them staying on each toe and my need to try gluing them, we so far they are working great.
Nala has been slipping on our hardwood floors for about a year now and we’ve tried all kinds of things including mats, rugs, etc. These toe grips work wonders. They also make it easier for her to get up. We lose one or two every few days but have always found them in the house….since the others all stay on fine, I suspect it is a nail trim issue. Plus she looks good in red!
Most of them stayed on. They work as well as the gripper slippers. Would probably buy again.
My Elphaba is my whole life. When my wife died last year, we moved from our home because there were just too many memories. Stupidly, I did not realize that going from carpet to wood floors would be so difficult and she experienced a decline so rapid that I couldn't even get carpeting installed in time to help her. These toe grips have been life altering for her. She had gone from slipping and sliding to running from room to room in a few short days. She has a minor hip injury from sliding that still has some healing to do, but the toe grips have made such and amazing improvement. She's so happy, and that makes me happy!
My farm partner’s corgi is an AMAZING dog - she’s a cardiac assistance dog (a highly specialized type of Jarvik artificial heart rescue dog, and the first of her kind - the one on all the posters), and she’s retired now, to a lovely little sheep farm.
The only drawback to this place for our heroine is that the floors are finished with an epoxy resin over concrete, and are extremely slippy, and her, erm, abbreviated legs have a harder time than usual with the floors. And let’s not mention that she’s a lady of a certain age, and her hips might not be what they once were.
In the event, these floors have bitten her time and time again (through no fault of her own, I might add). Imagine our delight to find this throughly delightful and useful product: Dr. Buzbys Toe Grips have saved all of our girl’s days since our purchase, and we are all entirely grateful!
They were fairly easy to apply and use. I have seen a marked improvement in my 15 year old Border Collie's ability to move across my floors. He also suffers from vertigo and that sometimes can effect his ability to traverse across rooms. That still can cause him to slip even with the grips on Although you do get a few extra, for the price I wish there was more. . However over all I am very pleased with this product He is walking through rooms he had avoided before.
