ToeGrips are a must-have for our spaniel who is elderly and can’t hold herself up on the wood floor without slipping unless she’s wearing her ToeGrips.
She went from skipping on her toes to putting 90% of her weight on her bad leg as soon as I put these on! No more wipe outs on my hard floors and she’s excited for walks!
I tried the ToeGrips. Since then—and it has been almost a month—no more slipping, even with lots of snow during that time (Illinois), and the ToeGrips stayed in place even with him going outside to potty!
Once we put these grips on two weeks ago, she’s about 98% better—able to run and keep her feet under her! They’ve stayed on the whole time too—wonderful!
Harley, my 14 yr old pug, could not walk on our tile floors without falling several times a day. Harley can now maneuver throughout the house without falling.—we have even seen him run a time or two.
Our 10 year old beagle has had a hard life unfortunately with horrible arthritis and spine issues. ToeGrips have changed her life as she is a constant mover now—I dearly wish I would have found these sooner.
He was given a medication which caused ataxia and my poor old man could barely move without falling over. They provided the needed stability to prevent him from falling. It was truly amazing.
We moved into a new home that has hardwood floors. These toe grips were a game changer—Kaiya walks everywhere now. We will definitely be ordering more.
An immediate change in your dog's freedom and mobility
If your dog can walk on carpet or grass but struggles on hardwood floors or smooth surfaces due to age, arthritis, surgery, or disability, Dr. Buzby’s ToeGrips dog nail grips can help.
ToeGrips have helped thousands of dogs worldwide including:
The non-slip nail grips fit onto your dog’s toenails to enable instant traction on hard-surface floors and stairs.
ToeGrips® dog nail grips typically last 1-3 months, two months on average. “Mileage” will vary based on your dog’s size, environment, and gait. The more abnormal your dog’s gait, the faster ToeGrips® dog nail grips will wear.
Most people assume this is a common scenario, but 97% of dogs do not bother with or chew at their ToeGrips® dog nail grips. In fact, most dogs don’t even seem to notice them, which makes sense because ToeGrips® dog nail grips sit on the poorly innervated nail tip, as opposed to covering skin/soft tissue of the paws and paw pads.
As a veterinarian, ingestion was one of Dr. Buzby’s primary concerns years ago when bringing ToeGrips® dog nail grips to the marketplace. She consulted with several colleagues, including surgeons, about this issue and everyone agreed that based on the size of dog and size of corresponding ToeGrips® dog nail grips, they should pass right through a dog’s GI tract. To date, that has always been the case. Furthermore, ToeGrips® dog nail grips are FDA-certified non-toxic.
These little bands are nothing short of amazing. I have a 12.5 yr old Great Dane who was having issues with her back legs sliding out from under her when she would try to get up or turning. I ordered the size appropriate “orange” she’s 120+ lbs! When they came I was surprised that there were only 16 but that was 2 months ago almost and I still have them on her back nails. Size and application are paramount to the function of this product! I give them 10 out of 10 for my girl! Thank you Dr Buzby for a great product! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This product was life changing for my senior dogs. A few years ago, my little 15 year old chihuahua’s little feet would slide out from under her when she tried to stand up and walk. I found these toe grips after a google search. I was definitely skeptical, but that skepticism very soon turned into gratitude. They worked exactly as advertised and she had her mobility and confidence back. We used them the last three years of her life. Most recently, I used them for my 13 year old lab. Once I noticed him slipping a little on our wood floors, I knew the toe grips would help him. I ordered some, but struggled to keep them on his nails because he was still very active. I reached out to their customer service team, and they not only made recommendations (that worked), but sent me a new set of grips with a tube of the glue they recommended. I cannot say enough good things about this product and company. Absolutely improved the quality of life for my elder dogs.
Saucy is 16, she'll be 17 in 2.5 mths. She's a Catahoularescue leopard dog. Large breed.
She started slipping a couple years ago. Over the years we've bought shoes, grippy socks, and while they both worked pretty well initially, the grips on the socks wore out and she started slipping again. I hate to takeoff and put on her shoes every day. So These toe grips have been a lifesaver and a time saver.. they're not hard to put on. Soak in alcohol then put on. (Comes with these directions)
They don't seem to bother her at all. She's walking around just fine!
I just put these on my sweet, 15 year old man a few minutes ago. He has been having progressive hindlimb mobility issues over the past year involving weakness to rise and toenail dragging while walking. He is under regular care by a veterinarian for these issues and wanted to try something benign to help with his mobility. They arrived super fast and were very easy to apply. My daughter and I noticed an immediate improvement in his ability to rise from the floor and his gait when he walked around. I am already very impressed and happy with my purchase. Thank you!
I purchased these for our 11 yo Husky who was scared to death to walk on LVP. We have throw rugs (runners all over our house) but there are still some bare places. I watched the VERY helpful application videos and was able to get them on quickly. I could tell almost immediately they gave him more confidence and he’s doing so much better. He’s been wearing the same set for about a week now with no gluing.
I was hesitant to try these but SO glad I did. My old man has weak hips and even though I trim the hair between his toes, he slips on my hardwood and tile floors. He is 16# so he teeters on the size chart between small and medium. I ended up going with the small as he’s built more like the breeds given in the examples for size selection. I struggled with only one of the toes but with patience and some “good boys” I got it on. The difference was right away. He’s more confident on the floors. He’s not trying to chew the grips off. He’s got a tendency to be overly concerned with things on his feet. This was the main reason I didn’t think boots or the non skid stickers would work. He’s been on a few walks and they’re still on. His increased mobility and more confidence in his step is worth the price!
My 15 year old Boston Terrier could hardly stand and her back legs were wobbly. She couldn’t walk on hardwood or marble floors without falling.
I’m going to confess that I did not believe the Toe Grips would work. As soon as I put a set on her back nails, she was able to walk and not slide around. That was 2 days ago and she keeps improving.
My husband thought the Toe Grips were a little pricey, but as soon as he saw Isabelle walking so well, he asked that I buy more so we wouldn’t run out. The Toe Grips are staying in place. We will buy more and I highly recommend them for aging dogs.
My dog suffered relentlessly while trying to walk on the laminate flooring. He was falling multiple times a day. As soon as I put the toe grips on him, he stopped falling and can walk around the house with ease. Thank you Dr. Buzby’s!!
My 5-year old Pomeranian was recently diagnosed with MUO/GME, a serious neurological condition that has affected his coordination and mobility. One of our biggest challenges at home was helping him navigate our tile floors without slipping or falling. That's when we discovered ToeGrips, and I'm so glad we did.
These little grips have made a huge difference in his confidence and safety. Before ToeGrips, he would hesitate or struggle to get traction, especially when turning or trying to stand. Now, he moves with noticeably more stability and ease--no more slipping or panicking on the tile!
They were easy to apply (watch the video!), and they've stayed on for 10-days, with daily checks to ensure correct placement. I highly recommend ToeGrips for any dog with mobility or neurological issues. They've given my little guy a new sense of freedom, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.
They helped my old boy walk like a young pup again! Thanks for giving us more high quality time with our boy.
