Dr. Buzby's ToeGrips® for Dogs

I have a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd. They're both in good health but we have lvp flooring and they were really having problems getting any kind of traction and it just broke my heart to see them fall down when they'd step off the rugs. I had been trying to correct the problem by putting down runners so they could walk on them. I saw your advertising and thought it would be worthwhile to try. I bought a package and put them on their front feet which is where they mostly lose traction getting up and getting down. I have not noticed them falling since I did that. It was a little tricky getting them on because one of them is very sensitive about her feet. Once I got them on there they didn't bother him. I was really concerned that they would immediately try chewing them off, but they don't seem to even notice they're on there. I think you have a great idea.

These toe grips worked great to stop my 15 yo Silkie from slipping on our hardwoods and tile. They were a bit challenging to put on but she was patient and we got it done. Immediately, she stopped slipping. I wish they weren't so pricey, though; I will struggle replacing them.

These little bands are nothing short of amazing. I have a 12.5 yr old Great Dane who was having issues with her back legs sliding out from under her when she would try to get up or turning. I ordered the size appropriate “orange” she’s 120+ lbs! When they came I was surprised that there were only 16 but that was 2 months ago almost and I still have them on her back nails. This product was life changing for my senior dogs. A few years ago, my little 15 year old chihuahua’s little feet would slide out from under her when she tried to stand up and walk. I found these toe grips after a google search. I was definitely skeptical, but that skepticism very soon turned into gratitude. They worked exactly as advertised and she had her mobility and confidence back. We used them the last three years of her life. Most recently, I used them for my 13 year old lab. Once I noticed him slipping a little on our wood floors, I knew the toe grips would help him. I ordered some, but struggled to keep them on his nails because he was still very active. I reached out to their customer service team, and they not only made recommendations (that worked), but sent me a new set of grips with a tube of the glue they recommended. I cannot say enough good things about this product and company. Absolutely improved the quality of life for my elder dogs.

Saucy is 16, she'll be 17 in 2.5 mths. She's a Catahoularescue leopard dog. Large breed.
She started slipping a couple years ago. Over the years we've bought shoes, grippy socks, and while they both worked pretty well initially, the grips on the socks wore out and she started slipping again. I hate to takeoff and put on her shoes every day. So These toe grips have been a lifesaver and a time saver.. they're not hard to put on. Soak in alcohol then put on. (Comes with these directions)

They don't seem to bother her at all. She's walking around just fine!

I just put these on my sweet, 15 year old man a few minutes ago. He has been having progressive hindlimb mobility issues over the past year involving weakness to rise and toenail dragging while walking. He is under regular care by a veterinarian for these issues and wanted to try something benign to help with his mobility. They arrived super fast and were very easy to apply. My daughter and I noticed an immediate improvement in his ability to rise from the floor and his gait when he walked around. I am already very impressed and happy with my purchase. Thank you!

I purchased these for our 11 yo Husky who was scared to death to walk on LVP. We have throw rugs (runners all over our house) but there are still some bare places. I watched the VERY helpful application videos and was able to get them on quickly. I could tell almost immediately they gave him more confidence and he’s doing so much better. He’s been wearing the same set for about a week now with no gluing.

I was hesitant to try these but SO glad I did. My old man has weak hips and even though I trim the hair between his toes, he slips on my hardwood and tile floors. He is 16# so he teeters on the size chart between small and medium. I ended up going with the small as he’s built more like the breeds given in the examples for size selection. I struggled with only one of the toes but with patience and some “good boys” I got it on. The difference was right away. He’s more confident on the floors. He’s not trying to chew the grips off. He’s got a tendency to be overly concerned with things on his feet. This was the main reason I didn’t think boots or the non skid stickers would work. He’s been on a few walks and they’re still on. His increased mobility and more confidence in his step is worth the price!

My 15 year old Boston Terrier could hardly stand and her back legs were wobbly. She couldn’t walk on hardwood or marble floors without falling.

I’m going to confess that I did not believe the Toe Grips would work. As soon as I put a set on her back nails, she was able to walk and not slide around. That was 2 days ago and she keeps improving.

My husband thought the Toe Grips were a little pricey, but as soon as he saw Isabelle walking so well, he asked that I buy more so we wouldn’t run out. The Toe Grips are staying in place. We will buy more and I highly recommend them for aging dogs.

My dog suffered relentlessly while trying to walk on the laminate flooring. He was falling multiple times a day. As soon as I put the toe grips on him, he stopped falling and can walk around the house with ease. Thank you Dr. Buzby’s!!
