My vet suggested I give Brain Boost a try. My senior dog was crying/barking non-stop and just wasn't quite mentally all there. Within a few days of using Brain Boost (yes, that fast!) my dog had calmed down considerably and the dementia had lessened. After a few months of taking the Brain Boost regularly, I took her off of it, wondering if she really still needed it (in part because she had also started Trazodone for anxiety). Within about a week of stopping the Brain Boost, her dementia symptoms and mental fogginess returned. I promptly started her back on the Brain Boost, and, once again, within a few days of Brain Boost, the dementia had abated. I highly recommend giving Brain Boost a try. I was astonished at how fast-acting and effective it is.
Sadly, we were not able to try the toe grips because our senior dog passed before we could try them. Not only did the company allow us to return the toe grips for a full refund, but the team sent a handwritten sympathy card to our home. The fact that this team took the time to send condolences to a person from whom it did not profit in any way says a lot about their integrity.
When we first ordered the product, I was having trouble with a coupon code, and customer service emailed back immediately with a solution. This, along with my vet's recommendation for their product, will certainly lead me to recommend that friends and family try these toe grips if their dogs need more traction for mobility.
Amost immediately after giving her the first dose, could seen a change, It,s been two weeks & 2 days & what a change in her
The toe grips work great. We have a 12 year old chocolate lab with a bad hip and she is very skittish about having her feet touched so placing the grips on her nails was quite an adventure. We both ended up laying on the bathroom floor to get it done. A couple of grips have worked their way off, but overall, she is much more secure on hard floors and patio tile. We will certainly continue to use them and hopefully she'll become more comfortable with the application process.
My 100 lb dog had a tough time getting up on slick floors. Now he has no problem getting up or sliding on corners
Our German shepherd, Franky had difficulty with slipping and sliding on our hardwood floor. It was apparent that if we didn’t find a solution he would end up hurting himself. Laying rugs out was not an option due to elderly family members tripping on them. So, I decided to give Dr. Buzby’s toegrips a try. When product arrived it had easy to follow detailed instructions. And because I mentioned Franky was still very active they sent adhesive just in case I had an issue with keeping toegrips on. Exceptional customer service!
I did not have faith but purchased these because of the 30-day guarantee. My senior girl has long toe hair and recently became a “tri-pawd” due to cancer. With our hardwood floors it was crucial to help her get traction. I was amazed that my sensitive girl let me put them on and acted like she did not even feel them. That’s the biggest shocker. The bonus is that they actually worked! Many companies make claims they can’t back up. I’m so happy Toe Grips is a keeper!
Although the grips didn't work for my lab who started to chew them off Dr Buzby customer support was there from beginning with proper sizing to helping ensure I had them on correctly with pictures even. Our is a lab and a chewer still at 9 and didn't like them so popped 2 off herself with her mouth. But Dr Buzby stood behind them and issued a refund. Can't hurt to try with a business like this who is so responsive and gives 100% true guarantee.
I have tired so many products to keep my Pomeranian, Mini, from slipping and sliding on the floors. She would skid from rug to rug and it was heartbreaking.
With Toe Grips she is confident and got inside zoomies for the first time!!
This product is PAWSOME and we will never stop using them. Thank you so much for this life changing blessing.
I had been eyeing Dr. Buzby’s ToeGrips for months but was very hesitant to buy them because of the mixed reviews I saw online. My 14-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi has struggled with her front and back legs slipping for as long as I can remember. Being a corgi, her little front legs are built differently, so even standing still was difficult because they would slide out from under her.
My husband finally convinced me to give them a try. Before ordering, I reached out to the customer care team, and they were absolutely amazing. They helped me choose the perfect size for my girl and answered all of my questions.
We decided to put the ToeGrips on her 14th birthday. We followed the directions exactly, and within seconds I noticed a huge difference. Her confidence went from 0 to 100 almost instantly. She could stand up with ease, walk without slipping, play with her puppy brother, and be part of everything again. Before, she often wouldn’t even try because simply standing was such a challenge.
I am incredibly grateful for this product. Seeing my senior dog regain her confidence has been priceless. I only wish I had found Dr. Buzby’s ToeGrips years sooner. Thank you for giving my sweet girl a little piece of her independence back.
My 14 year old schitzu was sliding on non- carpeted floors, even when he just sat there. These nail grips made a big difference!
We have a senior beagle who tore his ACL from a fall on carpet. I was skeptical if these would help with carpet, however they truly did! He has been trucking along on slippery laminate and tile floors in the kitchen and bath areas, but also in our carpeted living room. He is more confident and gained his mobility back! We had some trial and error when applying but if you go back
to the instructions or watch a video it becomes easier the second time. 100% recommend!
My 14 year-old half lab half golden retriever was having trouble getting up. These toe grips are a game changer. Highly recommend for any dog.
I got my dog these toe grips thinking that they would work, and then my dog was panting a lot and in pain and i couldn’t figure out why until she was chewing at her back paw. i found that her paw pad was being drawn back and putting so much pressure on her paw pad that it was bleeding and you could legit see tiny blood vessels. please check your dogs paws with these “toe grips” when really they hurt the dogs.
Your dog's safety is our top priority, and we appreciate you sharing this feedback. If you haven't already done so, please triple check that you've removed all 16 ToeGrips. I'd be happy to discuss this further because your experience is certainly not the 'norm'. Properly positioned on the nail tips, ToeGrips should not contact skin or soft tissue. Therefore dogs don't even seem to notice the grips and they do not cause pain. I'm so sorry to hear that your dog had this issue and I'd love the opportunity to speak by phone to troubleshoot this if you'd like to try again or process a refund for your purchase. We stand behind our product 100%.
Thank you,
Dr. Julie Buzby
$40 for 14 tiny pieces of plastic tubing that do not work. I could make these myself for 50 cents. Do not stay on pet’s nails, do not fit properly, They come in amazingly impressive packaging. Obviously, the money you pay goes toward the packaging not the product. I’ve never felt so ripped off. Do not buy.
Hi Kay, first of all, rest assured we are happy to issue you a refund. We never want a customer to feel 'ripped off' and offer a 30-day money back guarantee. I am a veterinarian who started this business because this concept (early prototypes) was so life changing for my own patients. I wanted to make them available for dogs everywhere! That was 14 years ago and they have helped tens of thousands of dogs worldwide since that time. ToeGrips are manufactured in the USA from a custom engineered material, not 'plastic tubing'. But most importantly, our goal is to exceed our customers' expectations in helping their dogs regain confident mobility, and I'm sorry we failed to do that for you. Please reach out to our support team so we can make this right for you.
Thank you,
Dr. Julie Buzby
But we have used almost the whole 90 chewable tablets and it maybe helping Brandy, a 12 years and almost 9 months old female Golden Retriever, as I haven't given up hope yet, especially after reading many reviews on Sr Buzby's ToeGrips and I still do have some hope, we will update this in another couple of weeks! She was very happy at the Beach, where we never went for the longest time almost a month!
Thank you for sharing your feedback on our Encore Mobility supplement. Unlike medications, supplements generally take a longer time to work, as you wisely noted. Since Brandy is a Golden, her dose is going to be 3 tabs per day. I would ask you to go a full 30 days before making a judgement on efficacy. I have used this product on so many of my senior patients and seen really impressive results over time. Should you decide that the product is not helpful, we do stand behind everything we sell 100% and offer a money back guarantee. But based on what you said, I'm still very optimistic!
Thank you for your review,
Dr. Julie Buzby
I bought size large based only on my dogs weight (50-60 lbs), not breed because “mixed breed” was not available. Love the concept but they didn’t stay on his nails and we lost most of them within a week. I don’t know if I was supposed to take them off when we go for walks (I didn’t) but for $40, very disapppinted :(
Thank you for taking the time to share your review. I'm sorry that you found ToeGrips to be a disappointment and would love to fix that! At the 50-60 pound weight, I'm 95% sure that you had the right size. However, you could confirm by measuring the nails. (Instructions here: https://toegrips.com/instructions-2/) Should your dog need a smaller size, we'd be happy to do a complimentary exchange and ship size medium right out! There are other reasons that ToeGrips may come off, such as if the dog has a neurologic condition that causes them to drag/scuff the paws. In that case, we use a bit of super glue to keep them on. We care very much about your dog's success and welcome the opportunity to trouble shoot this with you. No matter what, we will make this right, even if that means taking advantage of our money back guarantee. All my best to you and your dog,
Dr. Julie Buzby
I put these on my 10 year old husky hoping to help him as I can tell the hardwoods are getting harder/painful for him. He was so mad at me, kicking me the entire application process, and then over the next week he would just sit there and chew them off anytime he had free time. I did notice a difference so they definitely worked but unfortunately for my dramatic husky I dont think i would do them again just due to how much he hated it from start to finish.
I'm so sorry to hear that your ToeGrips experience was not stellar. Thank you for sharing that ToeGrips did work for your dog, and also for including the disclaimer about your husky's behavior. ;) Non-husky people may not understand, but you made me laugh so hard! It sounds like ToeGrips were just not the right product for your 'dramatic' husky, so we're happy to help you get a refund. We stand behind our product 100%.
Thank you for the review,
Dr. Julie Buzby
My dog Max has always struggled with smooth surfaces, often to the point of his whole body shaking in fear of the floors. Which is a sad sight to see, when he’s so consumed by fear that calling his name doesn’t even break the cycle, then I knew it was time to figurre this Mordi Guy I uh I
Bought these for my Rottweiler he’s having a little trouble with his hips. He wound up chewing them off. This company was remarkable. They refunded my money before I had even spoke with them and only asked for an HONEST review
Honestly, if you have a dog that will not fixate on them I think it’s a great thing to try and a great company to buy from.
